So, Ignatieff attacks prorogation as an attack on democracy, but would have bureaucrats select senators. His party, of course, is famous for denying the will of Albertan's when given a properly elected Senator-candidate.
The affront to democracy is that Ignatieff would rather have bureaucrats selecting candidates instead of the properly elected Prime Minister.
The Liberal party doesn't believe in democracy.
