The Corridor (a cricket blog) : Tendulkar reaches his destiny

Well, maybe I should have been clearer about what I meant regarding pressure. I was talking solely about the pressure of playing for India and what it means to Indians. That is his greatest achievement, not only coping with it, but succeeding. I can't think of many other sportsmen who have done that.

Never thought I'd hear you say that Stu. Still think it'll be a close
series ... unless Harmison, Flintoff and Pietersen all have massive
Tests. You're toast, then!

Great word, whence. I've seen nothing of the series either, but it's
all part of the pommie's wont: making disparaging remarks about
Australian batsmen in the vain hope that another one might retire
ahead of the Ashes. He's ageing, he's not the force he was - ergo, he
is finished.

The Corridor (a cricket blog) : Test cricket in serious danger

Slightly simplistic, Tom. The one-day game is a huge revenue-generator. It's the perfect length for TV advertisers in particular. It'll go eventually, but not just yet - the money is too great.

Thanks for the feedback. Why do they suck? It's a little buggy, but I'm testing it for a company. Offers so much more; you can reply to comments directly, reply-by-email, track them by RSS and track individual threads too. If it's shit I'll remove it, but give it a week or so.
