I think someone broke out the newest batch of yule beer a little early this year... Either that or the Nobel committee wants to get them some of those Obama photos the Olympics folks got. They probably figured they'd have to actually give him the prize to get him to Oslo since he got punked in Copenhagen.

Really. What a joke this is. I keep trying to put a funny spin on this, but funny it ain't. It's an insult to all those in the past who have received this prize for their hard work and sacrifice. And it's a big kick in the nerds for those who were passed over for the prize this year.

Try as hard as you might lefties, Obama cannot be placed in the same ROOM as Mother Theresa, the Dalai Lama, Lech Walesa and others who legitimately earned this prize. And there is nothing in this man that will make me believe he has the potential to some day be deserving of this award. He has no reason to work toward that goal now. You all have given him the prize already. Why should he bother? All he has to do is give a few crappy speeches and pose for some photos and the world bows at his feet.

It is truly mindboggling. It really is.

Man. He can't go a day without lyin about something! "Surprised and deeply humbled?" What a crock! I'm sure he and Michelle have already convinced themselves that not only was the committee correct, but they OWED this award to him. Humbled? I don't think there is a man on this EARTH who is less humble than this man. No way. Does not exist.

I tried to quash my outrage at this whole thing, but after being told over and over that I'm just mad because my president didn't get one, I've decided it's better if I just point and laugh.

Eventually, the more intelligent parties on the left will realize (and may already have done) how ridiculous and pathetic this is. Others, however, will continue to believe this is an affirmation of the greatness of their oh so wonderful president. I just hope the real people of the world can see how ludicrous and insane this is.

I pointed out to a British friend just how little this man has done and how many of the evil Bush policies are still in place. She pointed out that the die hard Obamazombies in her country don't care about any of that because for the it's all about the hopes for the future.

We've become a country/world where actual work and effort have become things to ignore. Instead, the people are more enchanted with words and hopes.

I've said all along, with this man it doesn't matter what he does. It matters what he says. That, to me, is insane. But then I guess I'm nothing but a racist, Nazi mob terrorist. So what I think doesn't matter at all.

Isn't it a good thing ACORN is still alive and well? He'd be nuts to do it, but I just betcha at least some of that money winds up going to an ACORN affiliate of some kind. Or as 1redcent so aptly said "perhaps to HAMMAS or al Qaeda." I cracked up when he said he'd give it to charity. Of COURSE he would... half of the man's cronies are millionaires, the others are "charities."
