'Even before Tuesday's defeat, the White House was casting the Senate vote as but the first act in what one Obama adviser called a long-term play'__This vote went the way the white house wanted it to go. This was a political stunt for the 2012 election.__Funny thing is, Obama said we should put politics aside and support this bill. No better definition for 'hypocrit' than that.

So you answer every question the same way? You really don't listen to the other sides comment? Wow, talk about closed minded.

note to self- don't waste my time thinking before responding to bearzooka

Why do you keep bringing up the bible in your arguement? Your debater isn't speaking of it.

Logical...so I guess the same could be said about politicians who spend time supporting this.

The comments were about illegal workers, so her comment that they spoke Spanish may have been her way of making that point. Yes, she may also be a bigot, but that accusation would be presumptuous here.

Also, your elitist insults will probably turn those who may agree with your argument off. Calm your approach. Don't feel you need to insult those you debate to win. Please don't take that as a attack, rather a suggestion.

Isn't that what it comes down to? You want to do something, and he says do nothing.

I was casually reading this stream of comments, when out of nowhere you called someone a bigot. I had to go back and re-read the comments. There isn't any bigotry in that statement. None!

Is this the way you end a arguement your'e losing? Calling someone a bigot who isn't one is lower than bigotry.

Awhile back there were several pit bull attacks in Fresno, CA. The local news would call out the local 'pit bull owners club' president. She would always say what you said, "It's not the bad dog it's the bad owner". Then her dog mauled a child.

Oh yea, never saw her on TV again.

The tea party elected house members stood up to everyone else in DC who weren't interested in cutting spending and really only wanted to tax our way out. They also called anyone out who wanted earmarks added to gain support.

I'm not a tea party member, but I watch them at the local government level 'cleaning house' of waste. It's probably easier at that level, but they are passionate about simple/inexpensive government.
