Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : TOMS

I will never be a ninja because my feet are too wide to be comfortable in TOMS. OK so TOMS aside can we explore this kicking for charity concept a little more. Jon I am sure that with your blog popularity we can get some kind of grass roots effort going here.

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Big Church Hats, a love letter.

I believe that the big church hats moved away as the "contemporary" service moved in. The early "traditional" service still has the occasional big hat. Not sure the kids in flip flops and board shorts would know what to think of the big church hat. I wonder if the suit and tie will disappear too as the new generations continue forward?

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Professional athletes who quit sports and become pastors.

May I suggest the EnerGel roller ball by Pentel...belive it or not it improves your penmanship another 7.5% over that of the Uniball Micro. How many church mailings will have "Rev. Coffee....He'll get you going" or "Come start your Sunday mornings with a cup of Rev. Coffee"

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Twitter.

I had my twitter account for over a year before I really learned how to use it. Everyday I am learning new twicks. Most recently I learned how to use it for customer service. I was put off when I walked into Wal-Mart with my kids and was greeted by a large display for the movie Kick Ass. Venting my frustration on twitter I recieved an almost instant response from their PR guys. The display was moved the next day. @maddenfm
