When I read this...I was just sick to my stomach. Since when did we become a county that stands up for a convicted felon and condemns those who serve and protect and were just doing their jobs? I can't imagine what this has done to the families of the officers. As a wife of a police officer, it is hard to imagine what I would do in this situation. I know that not all police officers are completely honorable, but I do think that the majority are. I am so proud of those that serve in law enforcement and work to keep our cities safe and protected. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the officers.
