Our local Trader Joe's and Whole Foods donate their almost-expired prepared food, so our clients often get organic, free-range salmon and $9 smoothies along with the hobo beans. Nothing to sneer at here.
Come on people, let's generate some comments here. I volunteer once a month at a food pantry in downtown San Francisco. The best part is that you are working with your neighbors who need the pantry and also volunteer.You get to know each other.
