it is good it still is there. I think they built houses then well, but no insulation etc. So they need some updating to be more efficient. Which is costly.....

This house is really smart, so cool! Love all the electronic abilities! Love it. It is so well done. And beautiful ---as usually. HGTV is great!
I love gadgets, computers, smart way of living, doing things...it is exciting.

I love the feature of locking all doors from tablet! It reminds me the commercial from Corning glass about future house. So wonderful. I can fully imagine myself indulging in technology like this. So far for me the technology is iMac, iPad, iPhone, and designing web, apps......but the smart home is more pleasant because one lives in it, not work, just pleasure ;-)

I wonder what is the land belonging to the house? is is to the fence or beyond?

My home is not too smart, it is 40 house, no gadgets like in smart home. Just washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator are energy efficient. That is about it. No solar panels...too many trees near house...but they keep it really cool in hot summer. In winter the sun can shine through windows...

I love this house. Wanted it so much, but my feelings from not winning is eased that veteran has it. They do a lot for country. Congratulations to Carole! Wishing you the best! And I know how it feels to have son/daughter far....happy that she can visit her son.

Love this house! I bet it would be great to many people. I can see us to stroll on bicycles, canoes, walking with our dog, enjoying nature all year around, taking a lot of photos ( which I do everywhere), paint images....it is oasis for nerves...our daughter doing what she loves most: loving, caring for nature, animals, biking, swimming. Having family and friends over so often....Get out of cold winter time....my dream is to be more south....I can go forever....

HGTV team and all who made this home to come true did extraordinary job with this house! Wonderful, beautiful oasis for any soul.
