After the last TD they cut ot Bulaga on the sideline and he looked like he was crying, I took this to mean he is leaving and it was just sinking in that his final Hawk game was drawing to a close. Everything points to him leaving. It would be nice to have him back for what could be an amazing year.

Great News! I do not think the national media realizes how dominating AC can be at times he just seems unblockable. Looking forward to a great year next year as well.

You are missing the most logical option, addition by subtraction, get rid of Northwestern. They have never actually fit in from a size and athletic standpoint. Could play a complete round robin FB schedule. Maintain the Big Ten name which would also represent the conference. In the end it would be in jNW best interest.

What happened to Hunter, I did not see him out there in the 2nd half? Did Wegher get hurt in pregame or in practice this week? I heard one report say the flu was back? Did the speed of JV's passes overpower Stross? Sorry for all of the questions, but I know you come through for the readers. Thanks.

Agree w/ OkobojiHawk, especially the last INT at the end of the 3rd Qtr, we are moving the ball, BW has a great 15 yd run, then w/ 40 sec left in the 3rd Qtr into the wind we throw a deep pass on a similar route that got picked earlier, why not run out the Qtr take the wind and then throw the ball, that INT seems to be on KOK.

Also, what is the the deal w/ Davis, he seems to get tangled up in running his routes (runs into Ref, gets flagged or Offensive PI, ets) more than anyone. I know he is a true Freshman, but is this just poor route running or poor field awareness? I hope it is just poor route running as hopefully that can be corrected, not sure if the other can be, he has a lot of talent and has made some nice catches earlier in the season.

This is the game the Hawks put it all together and roll, I am usually conservative in my expectations, but MSU is not that good and the pieces are coming together for Iowa. Hawks win 27-10.

Question concerning the Wisconsin Game, on Stanzi's fumble it looked like the Hawks were setting up a screen to Robinson, but ARob got held (basically tackeled) by a Wisky D Lineman. Is this Def holding or is this OK if it behind the line of scrimmage? Looked like it could have been a big play if completed. Any thoughts, I have not heard anything on this and the TV announcers did not notice, they just thought it was poor pass protection.

Thanks for the response Marc, I appreciate how you interact w/ your readers.
Recruiting always amazing me, why 18 yr olds go play for apparent jerks like Rich Rod and phonies like Zook and Brewster does not make sense other than they are kids and some coaches know how to stroke their egos better than others. I live in the Twin Cities and listening to Brewster speak is unbearable to me, plus I am MN resident so I helped pay for their new stadium, difficult to stomach as an Iowa fan.

By the way last Sat. TCF was pretty empty for it being Homecoming and only the 4th game in the new stadium, Hawk fans do not worry by next Nov. it will not be difficult to get tickets to the Iowa vs. Goofer game.

I had never watched an entire Rich Rod game before, does he always chew out his players that bad? Now I know why so many players left Mich when he became the coach. Why does anyone play for this guy? I am just glad Rich Rod is such a cotrol freak that he did not put Tate back out there for the last drive, why do you have a running QB in there when you have less than 2 min to drive for a FG. What ever happened to the too much practice charges?
