What exactly did you change? the gallery ID?
Don't really understand exactly what you want to do there.

I didn't really write the code above, I was searching for a method to place a slideshow on my site's header and found the code on this post that would allow for that using the NextGen gallery.
The code on the forum needed a fix because it was relatively outdated. Now I'm no expert on PHP or JS but this is the code that worked for Wordpress.
Basically it's a copy paste with a couple of changes in the code.

I'm currently using the NextGen gallery plugin for Wordpress which uses the imagerotator.swf to display the slideshows but with the code above you can use it to display a small slideshow in the header or any other location on the page. NextGen gallery plugin adds all of the necessary codes for that to work.
I guess that it's possible to load it without having the NextGen gallery plugin installed but haven't looked for that specifically.
