my husband handles all this in spurts, lol. it makes him crazy and he has to "leave it" for a while. our sons are active duty military, so i keep it to a minimum, considering!! but they know how i feel about stuff and various gov't "employees. once they're out, then we can have more in depth discussions! my mom, wellllll, unless it affects her, she could care less, plus if she doesn't want to understand it, she flat out won't! my inlaws are life long dems (my husband used to be a dem, hehehehe) so it's hard, but at least up to a point they'll listen. we'll never be as prepared as i'd like to be, but i keep working on getting stuff together.

i've been busy getting the veggies in, cleaning up the flower beds and "landscaping". almost done, thank god, cause i'm just about toasted. i don't can, i freeze and have started drying (tomatoes last summer). i can't afford to start canning, the supplies are just too much right now. so if the electric goes out for a long time, i'll have to throw a "block party" to get the stuff eaten before it goes bad, hahahahahaha!!! this year's garden has various tomatoes, various peppers, green beans, peas, lettuce, cantaloupe, cucumber, pumpkin, onions, radish, carrots and hopefully watermelon. the squirrels and chipmunks got most of the corn and sunflowers though, bad bad bad!!! i know it sounds like a lot, but my success rate is marginal at best (as evidenced by the critter invasion of the corn and sunflowers) with most of this stuff, so only time will tell if i will need to dream of owning a produce store, lol!!!

once we take out the trees, we must remember to kill the roots!!!

now here's the government truly working to protect us, the unwashed masses---NOT!!! gov't out of control, totally and completely. they're forgetting, most of these folks are libs, hahahahaha!!!!! of course, they'll only seize non libs, ie, non donors stuff!!!
