Chad Reed. I must confess that I was drawn to you because of all your hotness. Hotness that oozed from that big ass helmet hiding your perfect smile- more perfect than Andrew Short- and crept through my tv screen. But all the other stuff is what kept me there with you, your ability to say it like it is, the never ending drive to win, your consistency that never lets me down, your devotion to your fans.. and even now that I’m not a new fan anymore but an old one you still deliver. Taking the overall at the first race of the season was like Christmas in May. I’m hoping that you do reconsider your retirement from the sport in a year.....good luck this weekend.

even though i'm upset that chad is out for the next few weeks and in his run for the championship, i agree with cm, that this is atleast a good opportunity for him to be able to sit back and really watch his competitors. i'm assuming that he is coming back once his hand heals and race a little bit and i'm hoping that this will give him the chance to really mesh with the new bike which i do not think he has done without having to worry about the championship. having chad out of the race does not open up the chance for any chad reed fan to appreciate james stewart since he is half the reason chad is out for the season. what it does is give us the chance to pull for RD or RV or whoever else might can take his number 1 plate away.
