Marriage should not require a government certificate.

Though I've not seen any stance on gay marriage, I would imagine that he would leave that up to the states to decide, the same way he stands on abortion.

The most I could find on his family issues was that he supports governors getting involved in encouraging fathers to participate in child-raising. ( http://www.ontheissues.org/Governor/Gary_Johnson_... ) He is very much a follower of the Constitution, which doesn't have the authority to regulate marriage.

Even if it's legalized in Iowa, the Feds will come in and cause a ruckus.

That's why we need the only Republican candidate who has called for leaving marijuana laws to the states and getting it out of the Federal government's business to take Obama's place in 2012.

An across the board cut is the most fair, especially when tax revenues have come down so much.
