They took such a beating last week, they're desperately trying to find something to self-righteously snark about as their agenda is exposed and crushed.

I think we'll all sleep the sleep of angels knowing these crack security personnel are busy interrogating people over how much money they make a year. A most effective way to battle the "overseas contingency operation."

So basically you are saying that every single person that follows Glenn Beck or makes remarks like "I want my country back" has racial motivations? It couldn't be that they are referring to the Washington insiders and special interests on the left and the right controlling the nation, or that they might just be fans of a radio show/TV show commentator?

I think I understand the point you are making, but your generalization of "the people that harbor these feelings" needing to have a "cautious eye" kept on them does not seem to be any different from Carter's smear.

I personally have attended some of the Tea Party events in my area, and I can assure you that there are plenty of participants of different backgrounds, and I have witnessed the crowd cheering on a conservative African-American Congressional candidate during a great speech on July 4th.

As much as I hate sounding like a bean-counting leftist as far as pointing out the "diversity" at these events, it is there and the whole meme of only old, racist white people attending Tea Parties, or having these concerns, is simply not true.

Great work as usual, Stephen! I guess the actual acts of "evil in the alleyway" are best left to the imagination.
