let's see in a way the union loving blue staters have forced Toyota to grow beyond their capabilities through their loyal purchases of non-union made cars and trucks from primarily red state factories. It does seem though, that they hold the non-union car makers to a far higher standard than they do their primarily blue state manufactured car made by their UAW / Government owned manufactures that of course they refuse to buy from for status reasons....because everyone knows foreign cars are better or is it you are some how better if you're seen driving a foreign car? It seems very "this administration" to own the primary competitors to Toyota and be sitting in judgment of Toyota at the same time. The drama continues. I do not remember GM or Chrysler or Ford ever sitting before a Senate hearing explaining any of their recalls....I may be wrong. Toyota has several things going against it....being number one as GM found out puts a big target on your back. Another is not being union of course and competing with the guys that make the rules for the game.....the government is certainly not fair.

Shelby has learned well from democrats on how to play the game. I don't agree with his position but I do understand his motives. To bad he isn't the Senator that represents the district that Boeing is in. I don't want the French EADS winning a 35 Billion military contract. Being one of the select group that pays 40% of the fed taxes I'm willing to pay Boeing more to do the entire contract in the US. Unemployment is at 10% and I'd rather put Americans to work.....even if they pay unions dues....than Europeans

I've read more than a few post sniffing that Brown is arrogant etc.....hmm these are the people that elected over and over and over and over such humble folks like Kerry and Kennedy. People that don't vote for democrats are at a disadvantage from the get go. Most Republican voters or conservatives don't live for or even like politics and are fairly blind to the horse do do that leftist democrats do all the time. The shenanigans that they intend on pulling if by some miracle Brown gets a clear victory are the norm for them.....think Al Franken. For instance some have commented on how the Kennedy led democrats changed the rules so that the democrat govener could appoint a democrat to replace the late Kennedy and how rightly so rotten it was...well guess what, that rule they changed they made in the first place in case Kerry got elected so that Romney couldn't appoint a Republican in Kerry's place. These democrat have been playing the rest of us for as long as they have been a party because they live for politics and the power they take when they have it. They need to be on the out side looking in for a change we can really believe in.

The idea that the political opposition to Obama and their voting base is violent and dangerous is counter intuitive and pure leftist fantasy. The leftists conveniently forget that the vast bulk of if not all the violence related to politics comes from the left and has historically. They and their relatives the communists, socialist, fascists and national socialist are responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths last century and still kill their opposition today. In the US we have ALF and ELF and a multitude of anarchist groups that use violence and terrorism to scare us into conformity....of course our media is reluctant to expose their foot soldiers as if its a secret.
