Well said, I believe Fat Sam has done very well and it seems the only mistake made by him is the Carew signing. He's been awful! I believe the players being rumoured to join will improve and what we already have. Vaz Te would replace the awful Faubert. Morrison or Ze Eduaro would replace Piq; who has also been awful.

Re Morrison, if Fat Sam got his teams to "get along" with someone like Diouf, then who knows he may be the right man to tame this kid.

At least he's a Brazilian, there's not enough Brazilian magic in English football, lets just hope he's not as bad as everyone seems to make out. Give the lad a chance, if it doesn't work then he'll be sent back, no loss really. Just wish we'd go out and concentrate on buying another winger or someone with that creative spark. We've only had one winger in the last few years since Etherington left and thankfully thats Matty Taylor.

Considering who we have been linked with of late, I can see no reason why Gold and Sullivan do not seem to be stepping up interest in Snodgrass and Maynard. Snodgrass looks a quality player and would fit the bit in terms of wing play and creativeness. Maynard has done well in recent seasons, ok maybe he needs to score more but he is giving a good return for limited service. Is there any particular reason we're not interested in the latter?

One thing is signing is signing the guy, another thing is getting him to play and when I say play I mean give his usual 200% like he used to. Since he left he's got too big for anyones boots, even his own. Could West Ham tame the beast?
