"Would you like to see the bullet proof formula that catapulted him to victory in 2008?

1). Election

2). ???

3). Utopia"

So he's sort of the presidential version of the Underpants Gnomes?

I beg to differ - the pressure of the NY water system just isn't powerful enough to get water up above a certain level, so in order for floors above that level to actually have water, they must pump the water up into holding tanks on the roof of the skyscraper. It's why there are so many water towers on the roofs of the buildings in the city. Now, I may not be an expert on how the towers overcame that obstacle, but considering that the most economical method of getting water pressure on those tall floors is to pump it into a holding tank and let gravity provide the pressure rather than leaving an incredibly expensive pump going all the time, I'm assuming that they pumped water into holding tanks. So in short, I'm willing to bet that there WERE sprinklers even if the supply lines were cut since there would have been water in the holding tanks.

Not that I'm agreeing with the explanation or a conspiracy nut - I'm just saying that the explosion explanation presented is still valid.

One of Brad's best books! It's hard not to read it in one sitting if you are easily sucked into a good book! And this is indeed a good book!

All too often, unions seem to be just glorified and extortion rackets, protected by law and the politicians they routinely buy off. The image they prop up of benevolent crusaders for the little guy can't hold up forever when they pull this kind of idiotic BS.

I give up - you win. Whatever you want to think, I don't care. Just let the issue drop. I was not trying to be confrontational, whatever you may think. I'll assume you weren't either and that I misconstrued your further statements. Anything to end this farcical nonsense...

I'm not playing any games, and I think you might want to back down a few notches. All I did was point out that your comment could be misconstrued. If you want to pick a fight, go pick one with a progressive.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you just misspoke, but you might want to rethink that "genetically incapable" remark. It can be taken in a very, very bad light...
