You must never have been a landlord or you wouldn't be saying those things. This baseball player has no moral character or class. I don't think the landlord was the one that was acting like a spoiled child I think it's this ball player. He must have thought he lived in a Frat house like the one in Animal House and felt just because he was a big name athlete as you say he could do whatever he wanted. I hope this landlord wins her case because these people need to be taught a lesson and they aren't above the law.
Why shouldn't the landlord get reimbursed for damages this guy did. I'm sure he put down a deposit but by what other stories have said about this situation, the damage wasn't just bad it was horrible and he stole personal property that came with the unit. The amount she is seeking is just a drop in the bucket on the rent she is losing because some primadonna baseball player decided to trash his place. Ok maybe I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but come on he obviously doesn't care about where he lives or how he takes care of property that isn't his. Goes to show this man has no character or class.
George Lopez is a cartoon character. He fancies himself someone that everyone wants to listen to. Hey George, I got news for you we really don't care what you say. Just because Herman Cain is a black conservative and George doesn't agree with him he has to vilify him it just goes to show who the better man is, Mr Cain that's who. I think the man is bitter because his late night talk show was canceled, I used to enjoy listening to the comedy of this man but not anymore. I can't stand to even look at him anymore along with Roseanne Barr, Rosie, O'Donnell, and the rest of the ridiculous left wingers who think anyone cares about what they say. I'm just amazed people like Roseanne and Rosie continue to get tv shows and some people can't. Ohhh wait I know it's Hollywierd and their liberal bias.
I don't think this is the last we will hear about stimulus money being spent or given to companies because they were in the back pocket of Obama and his administration. I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg, how many more Solyndra's are out there? The evasive answers that were given yesterday with the investigation on Capital Hill shows they want to throw everyone under the bus. They even tried to blame Former President Bush for this and that blew up in their faces. It's all about Obama and his cronies.

I would love to take a look at your tax returns to see how much you give to the government. If you are so adamant about this then write a check for 75% of your salary and see how that sits with you. This man say ridiculous things all the time. if you have ever heard the say" Open Mouth and Insert Foot" well this guy lives it everyday. I' m just amazed this woman keeps getting elected over and over. I feel bad for her staff to have to take abuse like the article stated. I grew up during the era where African-Americans were forced to ride the back of the bus, eat in separate restaurants and so on but I don't think she wants to let go of old habits because that is the only thing she can hold onto. There are a number of so called people like Jessie Jackson, Charlie Rangel that want to play the racist card because without it they have no power over morons who vote them into office. I thought Martin Luther King tried to get us past this. Apparently Ms Lee should follow Mr King's quote: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Words to follow and live by in my opinion.

Yeah his last name really lives up to what this carnival act called our current administration is trying to convince the media that this trash is what most Americans want. Well I have news for you Mr. Carney, we don't want what you're trying to suggest. I work hard for my money and why should I share it with someone who doesn't want to work for a living and make his or her own way in the world. The bottom line is they want to take money from the hard working (2 jobs) who make a living and give it to the slackers that can't get up off their behinds and go out and find a job. I know it's tough out there and I totally understand the ones that are working everyday on getting a job, those aren't the ones I'm referring to. The ones I'm talking about are the ones that live off government assistance, pay no taxes and get so many breaks now that I can't get because I make too much money. These programs are designed to lock you into a lifestyle that you must have government money to live. I pay enough in taxes to help the folks that really need it, not helping out the ones that take, take, take and don't care if they do. I'll keep my money in my own pocket Mr Carney and not hand it out to slackers.
