Make your voice heard. Speak to your friends and tell them about what is happening. Write your congressman. You are the future of our country.
I like your idea. It will be interesting to see how fast it will grow.
Have the members of Congress forgotten why the Constitution was written? Do they even remember what is in it? They better get their history books out and read! I am shocked at the legislation they are passing, and want to pass. If our forefathers were to come back today, I think they would be angry as hell.
How would you feel, and hopefully this won't happen, if forces from your own government put your life, or the lives of your family, in jeapardy? Wouldn't you want to protect your life? You have to remember our founding fathers dealt with that reality. It is a right that needs to remain in place.
I thought the same thing when I read them.
I agree. What are you willing to do to try to make change?
In order for change to happen, we have to take action. I have only written to my congressman once, years ago, but today feel I can no longer sit idle. If we the people want change in America, we have to get off our rear-ends and make ourselves heard. Otherwise, our country might experience termoil that would make the great depression look like a party.
I have a comment about our government considering to allow illegal aliens to receive social security benefits. My grandmother is 98 years old and has paid into the system for many years. My mother is 70 and has paid into social security for nearly 50 years. Why should their benefits be used for someone who is not even a citizen of our country?
