If you look at the country where immigrants are coming from, it is also good for the country because the money they are earning from the work are actually sent to the country for the families to live thus their economy would actually would get better. Could the immigrants be seen as the helper? Or the immigrants should be always seen as the blocker or enemy of the people in the country that the immigrants are settled down? Immigrants should be no more seen as the blocker or obstacles rather they should be seen as the helper of the economic growth

I have heard that they are working really hard because they get paid more compared to the country they are from also they work hard because they have a family in back in the country they are from they save the money from the work and send money to them monthly so that their family would be able to have their lives. People should have their thoughts different towards immigrants.
Immigrants come to the United States to have a job or get more paid compared to the work in country where they are from. Immigrants are not the main fact the unemployment rates are increasing. Once again, immigrants are most of time do the work that others don’t want to take it. The people who immigrated first are also in fear that they would lose their job by people who recently immigrated. The first immigrants tend to not help the people who immigrated later instead they are afraid that they would take the job that they are working.

U.S Citizens often express that they don’t like the fact that immigrants are coming to the United State not only the U.S citizens but also the immigrants who came in first time .There are several reasons why they don’t like people coming to the United States and settling down. One of the most fears that they are having once immigrants coming to the United States is that they are afraid that they might lose their jobs due to increase of immigrants also they are afraid that they will lose their own color of the country meaning that if the many number of foreigner coming to the country that country would lose its uniqueness. However, what they are thinking are wrong based on this story. Immigrants actually run the economics more flow because immigrants are who are working or taking a charge of work that no one wants to take it. Also, immigrants tend to work harder than the non-immigrants. In California especially I have been seeing many numbers of Mexican immigrants working at the restaurant at the kitchen or behind the tables.

The other reasons why the white students would tell the story differently than the mixed or black students are the environment as I said earlier they had the environment where the opinions are respected or their right to speak or share ideas or thoughts are very respected thus the whites have more confident or feel more comfortable talking in front of many people. However, on the other hands, the mixed or the black students community would have less opportunity or have different environment than that the white students have. They would feel less comfortable of talking and the environment that they were in would have less opened system compare to the white students were in and the above elements or the situations differentiate the whites, the mixed and the black and how they tell the stories differently each other based on their different perspective, the way they grew up and also the environment that the in.

Emotionally, they are different. I would say that the mixed or black students are more emotional compared to the whites who are very non emotional or sometimes judgmental and very subjective. These differences in emotional also bring the different result on telling stories. Talking to the white students, I sometimes realized that they are really like to elaborate the stories sometimes too much information are extended to the certain point which is too far from the fact. The ways they are raised up are also different from the mixed and the black. How their parents talk or the way they talk would definitely influenced on them directly or indirectly. Once they are grown up they would tend to follow the path that the parents influenced on them. The whites are more likely to explain or describe the scene more vividly compared to the mixed or the black.

Why did the white students tell the story differently than the mixed or black students? When I am having a conversation with whites or mixed or black students, I can tell that they are all have different perspective on something or somebody. This is very natural reaction. However, one of the reasons why the white would tell the story differently from others are that they are very good at telling the stories, most of them have the ability to have someone to make an imagery for the story, on the other words, they have the ability to describe the certain scenes by using variety of vocabularies. Also, I think that the white students had more opportunity on talking stories in front of many number of people compared to mixed or black students. Those elements built their ability to tell the story differently or more rich compared to others.

I am also Christian. I see myself sometimes make criticism on other religions as well or sometime I make criticism on my religions. There was a very dangerous time in Christianity in Korea. Group of Christians decided to spread Gospel in another country where it is very dangerous to spread Gospel. Thus, when they arrived there and tried to tell about their religions, they ended up kidnapped and being a hostage to the country. This case ended up by Government paying a lot of money in order to save the hostages, that money was all collected by people’ taxes thus people in Korea who are not Christians become more hater of Christianity. It is very important to respect the perspective of other religion and it is also important to measure the risky of that mission and if the country is warning and recommending not come to their country to spread the Gospel or whatever, this should be respected.

I was little surprised that there is a similarity between Korea Christianity and America Christianity. The thought that the America Christianity would be better than the Korea Christianity was flipped. Christianity is powerful and major religion in South Korea. Our President is also Christian and presbyter and actually Christianity was what made him to be the President. Politicians are also believed in Christianity. In fact, we can say our country is Christianity country however, the Christianity image in Korea is praise songs, and criticism on other religions, perspectives that are apart from society is what people are thinking of when they imagine Christianity in Korea. They do wrong think and they don’t regret about it and they just say that it’s the God’s will. This will be much worse than America Christianity. Criticisms on religions are not easy.

I am wondering what does the meaning of the best lecture that the professor was talking about. I am also wondering whether the best lecture defined by the professor is his perspective or my perspective. If it was my perspective, today’s class was the best to me. The professor is a great speaker. He likes to discuss and explain very clearly on the topics that could be very complex and confused. No matter the audiences he speaks directly and clearly with no matter of races. His lectures on culture and values were very strike to me because the topics that he was talking on the class were inhibited in the country that I was from. Especially, the classroom in college is inhibited. Most of time, I am agreeing with what he’s saying in the class. Especially, topics on race and religions were very agreeable to me. The today’s lecture on “Christian Invaders” was especially very touching for me. The video clip that he showed us in the class was familiar to me.

I remember that when I was in high school I was with my friend she was American and one of my Korean friend came up to me and speaking in Korean, I still remember that my American friend felt so uncomfortable and that was appeared on her face. So I told my Korean friend to use English otherwise my friend would have a wrong idea that we are talking about her. After that incident, whenever I am with people and another people entered into the conversation but preferred to speak in the language that we both know but the another person doesn’t know, I always try to use that language that we all know that no one feel awkwardness or feel uncomfortable. To conclude, the use of different language of hearing of different language would feel uncomfortable but there is a way to prevent this possible misleading situation by respecting all by using the common language the everyone knows and be able to understand.
