"...to help other people at all times." I find the BSA ban on gays sad. It certainly goes against many parts of the pledge, etc. As an Eagle Scout, I'm disappointed in their position. But, really, it doesn't matter. Churches are full of doubters, even Jesus had his moment of doubt. And, the scout troops of this country are full of gays, that, in spite of the mean attitude of the National Organization, still love scouting. So it goes.

My God, between the "Sea Wall", and the Viaduct fiasco/tunnel, and now the "Arena Deal", it will be a surprise if we have any tax dollars left for anything. Where is the leadership?

Perfect: On the same day we have initiatives to limit taxes and to start charter schools! Hmmm, and the money for a new school system is going to come from where? We are SO screwed up in this state.

Of course: People with absolutely no experience in education continue to offer ways to 'fix' public ed. I have no experience in aerospace; I am going to tell Boeing how to 'fix' themselves as well--in makes perfect sense.
