I think you and I are related... The part I didn't tell you in my reply was that Robert's brother Philip was in the Air Force (I actually typed it and then deleted it), wanted to see if the dots would fall in line by themselves like this... I believe I met Philip Sr's wife a few months ago, at my parents home in London, Ontario. I met your grandmother, and her son who was with her, who is either your dad or your uncle. Email my at kbartha (at) gmail (dot) com and I'll put you in touch with my mom.

Hi there Nicole, thanks for asking, not invasive at all, quite a coincidence. My mother's father's name was Robert, and he was in the Canadian Navy. My mom has some good work done on ancestry.ca and I can put you in touch with her so you can have access to various things she's discovered, if there are further alignments between you on her side of the family. In the meantime, touch base anytime, and may the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause his face to shine upon you, and give you his peace.

Thanks for dropping in. I look forward to getting to know you, and how God may be aligning things with your sisters. The monks of New Clairvaux are praying into this growing global vision, and one of the younger monks there read (and made commentary) on Clairvaux Manifesto last year. Your showing up like this, now, at the turn of the tide, is very encouraging... Bernard to wrote Eugene for Consideration, "But that is enough on this topic. I have only touched the surface; I have not dug into the wall."

thanks for stopping in Libby... Yes, our confidence is in a person, and it is revealed in our posture toward Him... and with Him we can scale the walls of our enemies, and build strong walls around everyone else, and at His disposal and discretion are all the tools, gifts, and arsenals of Heaven released here on Earth, to the witness of a humble people.

you come to mind and heart often Shirley, you're a humble Psalmist, a steady flow of grace.

The first week in California, before being at the abbey, all-day everyday the scripture on my mind and heart was Psalm 127. I was with friends rebuilding large stone walls, trowel in hand, lots of mortar, Psalm 127 on repeat over and over again, and in the hot sun amidst the stones I got thinking through the past few years, and praying about the future... Then, when I finally got to New Clairvaux, the theme verse for their dedication event was Psalm 127:1, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain."
