Just got home from softball....again. Anybody having issues with the replies loading? I can see the original posts, but the replies won't open. :( I can hear my IT guy telling me to turn everything off and start over. Pfft.

Yay......and Nay. We have 4 TV's in our home. Great room/kitchen, kids living room, the master bedroom, and the shorter girls bedroom. The other 2 kids were superbly P.O.ed that the one has a tv in her room, right up till we told her she would never get to watch it. Her room has a queen size bed (the other 2 have a full and twin bunk beds), so her room is also the guest bedroom. When we have guests, I magically appear with the remote to that tv. When the guests leave, so does the remote. The way HGTV has hidden the tv in guest room would be ideal here. Having a tv you can't turn on, just staring at you everyday, has been described by said shorter girl as cruel. If I have my 'old school' way, my kids will get TV's in their own rooms when they buy their own homes. :) The tv in the 'kids living room' never gets used....unless there is a sleepover.

All that said, I know as they get older, having TV's in other areas (especially if they are used in leu of a computer monitor) would be useful. Not in the shower....LOL!

I want to take a moment to apologize for constantly bringing up my kids. I'm sure it gets old, but they truly seem to encompass every waking moment of my thoughts. :)

Agreed Maine....when the Hubbers and I were in Boston (years ago) the people were extremely friendly....except at Fenway which was really just amusing. The fans were as hard on their own team as they were on the opponent. High expectations of their own for sure! We LOVED Boston. When we went to New York, just a few years back, the people were not unfriendly, they just seemed very busy. Busy, busy, busy. Very fast paced. The cabs scared me. But I get it...a little. Got a job, get it done, move on to the next guy. When we stopped into the smaller bars though, we loved to hear all the stories about how people come to live in NY. Really brave, these young people following their dreams.
