Book 8 for me. I got the first 8 books in a boxed set and loved them and have re-read them loads but after that it just didn't have that sparkle. It stopped being about the ordinary and became about the paranormal and it was the ordinary that made the books good.

OH dear I don't think I will bother with this one then. I have read all of the others and for me it lost it about book 9. After the shifters went public it lost something, then the whole fae war. I don't even remember the story of dead reckoning but i could tell you what happened in the first 6 with out taking a breath. Sad really.

I will admit I do love a lot of what I read but then I am also fussy I know if it ticks certain boxes I am going to love it unless the writing or story is abysmal.
