And they complained like heck if you asked to meet with them outside of their one hour a week for 'consulting' with students.

The educators in our country are paid and overpaid. If they want to go do research, let them do that at a research facility. I want good instructors who care about the students teaching my children.

Now one of the deans of the UC system says we must raise taxes on all property (repeal Prop 13) so her and her cohorts have even more money to waste on their salaries and build bigger edifices to their ego.

These iceholes are not worth the money we give them now. They seem to think that tax money comes from the government.

A clue, guys, WE pay for the taxes, and I say you aren't applying yourself in school, so you don't deserve money to get the education. Work your way through like many of us did, not with taxpayer handouts.

What arrogant ingrates.

It's not just money, it's the attempt to institute an international control over people's lives, including the money. But it is the power that they truly want, with a very limited oligarchy at the top, directing how the money is spent, how we live our lives (where we live, in what kind of containers, using only public transit so there is no individual freedom to decide to go someplace you want, without some kind of approval by the police.

Thinking Man, you seem resigned to this...'no surprises here for me.' I believe that is exactly the kind of reaction the UN and the rest on the Left want us to have. Of course it is fascistic, dictatorial and the strengthening of a World Police State. What you need to show is OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get hot, get angry at the attempts to take over our coutry.

What we need to do is start targeting those whose actions generate this police-state mentality. My premise is that there are many ways to react to this, but whatever is most effective is what needs to be done...no matter the extreme it may seem.

Look a little deeper, though. It's great lip service to take on teacher's unions this way, but I don't think it's going to last. Also, realize that Michelle Rhee is implicated in covering up her fiance's (Sacramento's current Friend of Obama and mayor) alleged wrongdoing with improper touching of women, and embezzlement of over a million dollars of Americorps (Obama favorite) money.

She's not that wonderful.

Sorry, but Michelle Rhee is corrupt. She has helped her fiance, Sacramento mayor, hide the details of his reported dalliances with a number of women, which included improper touching charges, as well as her fiance being caught in a shower with a 12 year old girl - and they weren't blowing soap bubbles at each other.

Love the taking down of tenure, though.

Incredible work, Breitbart. However, the ACORN rep had it right. Jerry Brown is a total political animal, and his racket has been protecting left wing organizations and movements over a period of DECADES. Don't expect much to befall ACORN or their management. At worst they will get...probation, if they get brought up on anything.

This corruption will continue if you have someone like Brown being governor again. Just think, with this mega push by the Leftists in our society, ACORN can become kingmakers and spit in the face of all the rules and laws that we have on the books, because a liberal attorney general and the latest judges don't care crap about anything but leftist agendas.

The Russians have much to be called on the carpet about. cutting off natural gas to nations that don't please them politically, isn't kosher.

However, global warming is something man isn't responsible for, so the Swedes and the EU can go suck an egg on that one.

As a person, I like Arnold. As a governor, he wasn't as effective as he could have been. His first year he started out great - conservative approach down the line. Then he put forth a couple of initiatives that the nurse's union, the teacher's union and the prison guard's union, all joined forces and stomped them (They outspent the gov's funders by about 3:1). He then turned moderate to liberal to feel like he had a chance to get something accomplished.

No more RINOs. Unfortunately, Meg Whitman, the leading Republican contender, has got a longer RINO horn than Arnold does. Not a good choice there. Then there's Boy Wonder, Mr. Brown, a previous governor who absolutely killed Cali when he was in. Unfortunately, the people don't have Elephant memories.
