If men dressed in beret's and quasi-military black panther gear with nightsticks can't be charged with voter intimidation I expect to have no problems next election cycle. I will have a T-shirt that shows which candidate I support, as well as a ball cap and louisville slugger to show my love of baseball.

The media is trying so hard to paint this picture of "the most intelligent man to hold the office of president". The guy couldn't even keep up on his own 1st executive order. They painted GWB as being less than intelligent, and everytime he mispronounced or invented a word it was run on every media outlet. If there was objective journalism across the board who do you think would come across better?
Glenn predicted this on the radio yesterday. The left needs some time to "organize" their retaliation.
I found Emmanuel's sound bite interesting. Something about citizenship not being an entitlement. Strange that being a citizen isn't an entitlement and requires service . But entitlement to food, healthcare, housing and education is what this guy seems to believe.
Scary stuff. I have a friend who is left leaning that recently made a comment "Don't worry about it, the government will cover the cost." The scary part is my friend is college educated, and works for the IRS. Now if he doesn't know where the govt. gets its money from, is it any surprise we're in this situation?
This is why they invented the hate crime. If a non minority treated me in such a manner, the standard punishment for assault might be worth it.
The spin on this from the media is insane. Follow the MSN story and see how much is left out. The Boston Globe had originally linked the police report, and then replaced it with a heavily editied version. Gates should have shown the officer his identification and thanked them for doing their job.
I'm going to start this off just to let everyone know where I stand. I say drill here, drill now, and drill often! We must be renergy self sufficient! Period. Now that I've established that I'm not a lets go green type of guy, whatever happened to solar energy. I'm 34, as a child in the late 70's/early 80's I remember solar energy being the next big thing. Ultimately, in addition to being in complete control of the climate of this and the other 8or 9 planets in this solar system, the sun supplies almost all of our energy in one form or another. Why is the only solar powered item I own a calculator? Is the sun just really good at math? Is storage the problem? If you believe that the egyptians and Aztecs were making batteries, then we've been doing this for thousands of years. Aren't we getting any better at it? Is solar power a dead end, or do we only think about every 25 years or so when our good friends in the middle east start playing with the price of oil?
I'm going to take one from the liberal playboook. They can't be bothered with common sense because they are all racists. And the race they hate is the human race.
