I am in Kentucky and live in a small town. It seems no one knows about the tea partys here, i contacted our home town paper and they did not get back with me. I have been to one tea party and am waiting to hear on one at the Capital they are trying to get a permit and must be having trouble getting it. A friend of mine in SC said TX. is having trouble with their State so i think we are already a thorn in the side of the Goverment! GOOD, hope it hurts! My sister and i are making poster signs for our inside windows of our cars hers are bright orange and talk about people looking, it is hard to miss! We also ordered stickers for our back window T.E.A. Taxed enough already! We have to bring attention some way so i will put mine up tomarrow. Any thing to put the word out, then maybe the blind will see!
Simper Fi, I am from Kentucky and my husband server 1966-70 as a Marine in Vietnam and i am talkng him to his first Tea Party! He is not an easy man to drag him to any thing but have been working on him. He knows something has to be done and feels he has faught for Americans that did not appreciate his sacrifice at the time! I am sure you know there was no welcome home for them like their is today.He sees the dark days ahead of us and even though he has faced the darkest he said the American people can not imagin what it will be like! He knows we don't have a choice, it is eaither fight or lose every thing, this is for our children, grandchildren and all American fanmilys! So i wish, all my prayers and may God bless our efforts! Hi, I am from Kentucky and have been going to the tea partys and noticed you mentioned stickers for the car! I have a sugestion, Newsmax.com sent me an E-mail called join the Resistance on April 15th 2009. You can get free stickers saying T.E.A. Protest stickers for tax day saying Taxed enough already. I ordered six and you just pay the shipping, i think my total cost was $5.50 and that is not a bad deal. They have yard sings and different types check it out! Good luck to all, we have to make this work! Americans with one purpose, one voice! We are the People, We can change the direction of our Nation because there is no other choice ! We must move forward knowing WE ARE NOT ALONE!
I have just checked the map needed to find where and when the tea party will take place in Kentucky. I could not pull the information up and tryed a few states and could not get them it up eaither. We had one in Lexington a couple weeks ago good turn out about a thousand had great time. I know we have one again in Lexington at Apple Bee Park on the 18th of April, we were to have one in Frankfort on the 15th now i can't find information on it! If any one can help me on this i woul appreciate it!
I agree,they have not earned trust in fact they are going the other way! There whole goal is to change our Government we know it and that is what we have to prevent! Taking about our young children they are smarter then Washington. I pick up my grandchildren and when my grandson got in the car last week he said , Well Me-Maw Socialism is already starting in school and he just turned ten! It is plain to see and why so many Americans do not see, it is beyond me, i guess that old saying hear no evil see no evil . This kind of thinking will distroy the future of this Nation !
I read in my husbands VFW magizine that Obama was talking about our Military paying when they come home with there private Insurance. Also saw it yesterday on Fox News. Why would any one join if they are treated like this, the whole Government is sick !!!!! About paying taxes on our Insurance this is just the begining they want total control and i mean total !!!
You are right, Term limits is a way to clean house, this will be a hard fight but with the numbers behind us we can get the ball rolling on this!
I loved the tea idea also! There are well over 100.000 sending tea bags to Washington on April 1st and another group on the 15th! On March 31st there are hundreds of thousands sending a red empty envelope to Obama with this on the back,
This envelope represents one child who died because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our World!
There are many events going on like this and this makes you feel not alone,we are a small part of the bigger picture! As each day passes we grow, it is like a snow ball effect so let it roll!! Each one of us are important what ever we can do! We don't want to be side tract like the left. We don't want to vear of the road to ithe right or the left, keep our eyes stright and we reach our goal with an Army behind us!
