We got lucky, a tornado touched down about .5mile from our house, limbs down but nothing we can't recover from.

The utility companies have this nifty thing called a phone number that you have to call before you dig, generally takes 2 to 7 days for some guy to come out in funny clothes and a spray can to mark where the gas lines are. If you don't call and you do dig and hit a line there is a pretty hefty fine I think it's like $25,000.

I'm sick and so were the people that raised me, I stole once and had to apologize to the store owner on top of that I had to work the whole summer for the owner. I got the point laud and clear. Kid's push the limit that is what they do that is what they are supposed to do, we as parents have to guide and teach them right from wrong and if more parents punished their kids like this maybe there wouldn't be so much crime.

Life in general causes emotional harm, everytime I tell my child no I'm sure that is causing emotional harm. The mother in this case is doing the right thing and the kid's are learning a lesson that can not be taught by sitting on a couch and talking to a stranger about their feelings of why they stole or snuck out.

Situations like that just make me mad. Guns should not be any where near a child unless it's on a firing range and they are being taught gun saftey then they need to be locked up in a steal safe far away from children.

I don’t know if making a law would help, but basic common sense goes a long way in dealing with children and I think a stun gun is a bit much. That being said in defense of the officers what is their protocol in a situation like that?
