Typeboard : Muslim group calls for burka ban in Canada

It is really a debate for only those involved directly and not for third parties. People who are not of a particular faith, really have no business in dictating how individuals choose to practice aspects of their religion. Just because because Ms. Haussegger may find the particular religious practices repulsive, humiliating, degrading, different or strange does not give her the right to impose her personal belief system on others. I strongly believe that individuals should be free to practice their religion in whatever *lawful* (note the emphasis on lawful) manner they see fit, so long as they don't attempt to force their belief system(s) unwillingly on others.
