thats horrible. thoughts and prayers with the woman's family.

as unfortunate as it is to have to do so.. background checks are a good idea for people who rent units/houses.

this is true, some people choose this life. Not everyone.. and even if they choose this life I would say the humane thing to do is to help somebody out when in need, regardless of the circumstance.

I agree. Something has to be done, but sometimes instead of telling the gov to do something - it is you and I who has the power to make a difference!

They didn't want their name being used, they didn't say they wouldn't accept the coats. "Officials from the Portland Rescue Mission said they will still accept coats collected by the group."

The group wanted to make a point to use what they wanted to put. So they were told no, they weren't told they couldn't donate.
