Making your website IE supported sometimes means you will have to test test test and probably adjust some css fixes for IE. Browser incompatibility is a fact, has been for years, will be for years.

ChronoComments is very similar to Intense Debate. On a scale of 100 - chronocomments gets an 89 and intense debate a 90. Both are very good in what they do. I chose to use IntenseDebate here.

There are some tools/extensions for at: http://goo.gl/ELya But a general rule is, when your Joomla website is slow, is it often because of your webhosting plan. Many web hosting plans are based on a shared server. When your plan is cheap, you are guaranteed you are sharing the webserver with 200+ others. And that will slow you down.

Hi,

You will need a Windows setup. If you have a macbook pro, you could use either Windows through an emulator or through Apple's system to use a windows partition. It will not work directly on your Apple system.

Hello, Supposedly there is a component/module/plugin combination that allows you to use Twitter ID for logging in to your Joomla site. This you can find here: http://code.google.com/p/com-twitter/ Be sure to download and install component, module and plugin on the download pages. Once installed, the component needs a consumer key and consumer secret. Which you can obtain from Twitter.com. How to obtain those, please read http://code.google.com/p/com-twitter/wiki/Registe... I have tested it, and must admit, it did not work out of the box for me, maybe something I did wrong. But to answer your question, yes the integration to allow users using their Twitter ID to log into your Joomla site exists.
