Our obscenely expensive health care system is unsustainable and threatens any economic recovery from what Little King George and Company bequeathed us in our economic ruin as a direct result of their reckless policies. If you are so outraged by health insurance companies being regulated and required to perform, where was your outrage over the Bush Administration policies which denied paying attention to this matter while running up the largest deficit in history? I guess two trillion dollars in failed wars with the corruption and fraud in the military industrial complex is ok by you, but any expenditures to bring our nation back into the realm of the developed world with basic health care availability for our citizens is taboo? By the way, the GOP has tried to dismantle Medicare and Medicaid for decades, so this feigned concern by the "conservatives" in our government playing these partisan political games of obstruction to any and every compromised position from the White House is comical. You and your party offer no solutions except supporting the status quo, which is unsustainable. Healthcare is a basic human right and some things should not be about profit.

Our bloated "national security" apparatus should definitely be reviewed in its waste and fraud. This "monstrosity" will only get worse with inaction and we can enjoy status equal with Mexico and other second and third world nations with the "solutions" you supposed conservatives offer in your comical opposition to every and any legislation offered by the Obama administration. The federal government already runs a third of our system and the health insurance industry and many medical providers, especially for profit nursing homes, routinely over charge and steal from the taxpayers because we do not have enough regulation.
