Absolutely.

Several months ago, I wrote several of the key GOP representatives responsible for the debates and their formats. I vigorously objected to allowing MSNBC to host any such forum. The two who bothered to respond claimed it was to reach a "wider audience." Wow, just wow. Can these people even count?

I don't know what else it will take to teach the Republicans not to be complicit in their own destruction if last night didn't do the trick.

There is a reason the GOP gets the "Stupid Party" label. Actually, there are two. One is it fits the media narrative. The other is that the Republicans work damned hard to earn it.

Guthrie and that cabal would turn on him if he were a Democrat out of the fear of a contested primary.

Let there be a rumor of a Huntsman third party run, which no doubt would further decimate Obama, and he won't be able to pay for air time.

Jon Huntsman's candidacy was a media creation, its viability a media wetdream, its reality a media disappointment.

There will be no John McCain redux, and no media-orchestrated Barack Obama The Sequel.

Stick a fork in this presidency, it is done even if the media tells you it is sushi. For those with gray, remember the year before the Carter Administration met with its also well-earned end. The media hyped the re-election prospects all the way through October 1980 and then turned on the certain loser like a rabid dog the day after the election. If anything, these clueless pricks are worse and will work effortlessly to prove it.

No wonder the Left goes all soft fascist with free speech. When they had the Fairness Doctrine and when alternative media didn't exist, this would have gone unremarked. Hell, Schultz would have gotten an Edward R. Murrow award for his "courage." The only way these folks retained power for two generations was via unchallenged distortion, which tells us all we need to know about the popularity of their message.

The media's last hurrah was the election of the unqualified buffoon we have in the White House. Let's let his failed re-election bid be their last nail in the coffin.

When asked why he had no remorse before he murdered people, spree killer Charlie Starkweather is reputed to have said, "they were long dead before I shot them." That disturbing quote is apt here. Kurtz and the other left-wing propaganda whores were discredited long before l'affaire de Weiner could have taken the credit.

All it takes to be a mediot critic is the ability to read and listen.

It is patently clear at this point that among her myriad of faults, Walsh is a painfully dim person. Sure, she's a typical left-winger who lies at will, but she really lacks the mental capacity to formulate an argument or theme no matter how deceptive it may be. It takes a modicum of intellect to lie reasonably well. Walsh doesn't even lie poorly.

Her spin won't work in no small part because she lacks the smarts to make it work.

Game, set, match. You win, she loses.

15 years ago @ Big Journalism - It would be nice if they would just release information rather than try to hide it, but even that is becoming less and less important. Their irrelevance really was glaring today.
