Well if you watched the Conservative Black gathering the other day on C-span, it was sooo refreshing to see blacks who are conservative with Christian principles come together lead by Allan West who speaheaded the meeting. One member from the black caucus showed up which took a lot of guts on his part. But Mr. West intends to bring the message of what conservatism is to the black community himself. You can imagine the jacksons, angles, sharptons, waters and jackson-lee ire that is going to be raised against this group!!! Thank God!!
I'm with you there jjhan. I thought, this has to be the most boring debate yet, and could not understand why the audience was so dull. When they panned it a few times, there were no smiles, no reaction...one would think they were looking at an audience in Russia or Iran. I got halfway and shut the tube off!

Right on Falcon. As a professional female, married, registered independent and evangelical christian Newt's baggage is thrown over the cliff. I could care less! He speaks clearly with substance and no stuttering, hesitation or nervous laughter thrown in. Romney is NOT a debater and with his made-in-Hollywood grin and nervous laugh when he is challenged, he will not beat Obama who is from the same made-in-Hollywood mold.
Could not agree more\ Oregontea! After a Newt speech, one remembers what he said he would do and can recite them. With the others, after they're finished talking, I'm left with ..."what the heck did they say"? Nothing, but a lot of "here are the problems", but no hint of what steps they will take to deal with it. Newt has substance and speaks a language we can all understand. When he speaks, I hang on every word. When I visited other candidates up here in NH and then watched on C-span, there were many eyes closed with bobbing heads.
Sorry at one time was all for Cain, worked my bottom off for him too, only to find in the end he was a real great actor!!!

I used to like Ann but find I'm not only tired of her constant "giggle" which I tolerated when I "liked" her, but her love affair with Christie who is absolutely NOT a conservative and both their support of Romney has revealed her true side.....a moderate liberal, or to be a bit kinder, "a conservative liberal".

Thanks whiteguy2 for these links. I absolutely have the greatest respect for Dr. Michael Youssef and his endorsement carries much weight amongst those who are solid, gospel Christians. There are very few preachers of the gospel out there who are rock solid and respected highly, Dr. Youssef is one of them.
