SPOILER:
That ending scene where the humans are marched back to their spaceship with the narration, "The ALIENS were sent back to their home planet, which they had already destroyed..."
As the movie ended, from inside my packed theater, I heard maybe 2 people clapping, while everyone else just put on their coats and left.
Just like me.
There is no doubt now that Cameron is a Truther who believes that WE blew up the Twin Towers.
That scene, the destruction of the Tree of Life, followed by Col. Quaritch's, "Good job, boys. First round's on me" was absolutely revolting.
And EXTREMELY anti-American.

The STORY of Avatar was OK, and there were moments/scenes that i liked very much, and that moved me.
The MESSAGE of Avatar, however, is what everyone here, myself included, has a problem with.
I came away from watching this movie thinking that Cameron may not simply hate America, but the entire human race, as well.
SPOILER.
The end sequence when the humans are all being marched back to their spaceship, with the narration, "The ALIENS were sent back to their planet, which they had already destroyed..."
This is EXTREME left-wing environmental clap-trap.

Also on set was actor Giancarlo Esposito, known mostly from Spike Lee's films, whom Woodward, in the scene, shoved head-first into a car door window making the other 'thugs' in the alley scatter.
Got an autographed photo of Woodward at his trailer. Great guy.
RIP Mr. Woodward.
