John, the other thing that hasn't been addressed is that the sequence showing the attack on the Tree of Life, proves that James Cameron is a Loose Change / Truther / moonbat / mental patient.

I'm in the camp that says Avatar was not only very anti-American but also anti-human.

SPOILER:

That ending scene where the humans are marched back to their spaceship with the narration, "The ALIENS were sent back to their home planet, which they had already destroyed..."

As the movie ended, from inside my packed theater, I heard maybe 2 people clapping, while everyone else just put on their coats and left.

Just like me.

There is no doubt now that Cameron is a Truther who believes that WE blew up the Twin Towers.

That scene, the destruction of the Tree of Life, followed by Col. Quaritch's, "Good job, boys. First round's on me" was absolutely revolting.

And EXTREMELY anti-American.

The VISUALS of Avatar were absolutely breathtaking, one of a kind, and in this respect, Cameron has set the bar VERY high for the next few years for any big budget Hollywood production.

The STORY of Avatar was OK, and there were moments/scenes that i liked very much, and that moved me.

The MESSAGE of Avatar, however, is what everyone here, myself included, has a problem with.

I came away from watching this movie thinking that Cameron may not simply hate America, but the entire human race, as well.

SPOILER.

The end sequence when the humans are all being marched back to their spaceship, with the narration, "The ALIENS were sent back to their planet, which they had already destroyed..."

This is EXTREME left-wing environmental clap-trap.

I think you meant Rambo - not Rocky.

The Rorschach character MADE that movie work - otherwise it would've been another left wing CGI-laden piece of sh*t.

I met Edward Woodward in 1986 while he was filming a scene for The Equalizer in an alley in Hoboken, NJ.

Also on set was actor Giancarlo Esposito, known mostly from Spike Lee's films, whom Woodward, in the scene, shoved head-first into a car door window making the other 'thugs' in the alley scatter.

Got an autographed photo of Woodward at his trailer. Great guy.

RIP Mr. Woodward.
