How about this one: "I gave money, energy and time to the Obama campaign and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"
Note: I did NOT give money, energy or time to the Obama campaign.
James, I knew there was more to the story. I applaud your ingenuity. I just wish people knew there was no malice involved. Amazing that certain leftists can throw paint, BOMBS and even pies (gasp!) at their ideological opponents but you go into a senator's office armed with a cell phone and MSNBC and that moral authority Bertha Lewis can dismiss any of their own wrongdoing to vilify you. Wow. The MSM gave more deference to the skivvie bomber than they did you. What a bunch of jackasses. Ed Schultz? STFU.
"Is there Amanda Hugginkiss here? I need Amanda Hugginkiss." -Moe
John, once again you got it right on! I was waiting to see when you were going to weigh on on this and it's good to see that you make a reasoned and well supported argument. When it comes to the MSM I always remember the scene in the original Star Wars when Luke and Obi Wan Kenobi ride into to town and are stopped by the stormtroopers and Kenobi lays the "these aren't the droids you're looking for" line on them. It's the Jedi mind trick day after day.
Greg, for a guilty pleasure (actually I don't feel so guilty) I encourage you to listen to Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Sure it's Pop/Disco but no one does it better these days. One listen of her album "Trip The Light Fantastic" and you'll be hooked. Unfortunately she hasn't broken big in the US. I guess we have to wait for all this Snoopuffpdiddyjayzfittycentkanye crap to run its course. Your thoughts?
After the Michael Jackson death and the subsequent "funeral" at the Staples Center in Los Angeles I turned to my wife and said, "You know, this reminds me of that funeral at the beginning of Ford Fairlane when Vince Neil gets flown in in that glass casket." Life imitating art? I'm sure there were scalpers there as well.
