Because it's funny as hell.. unless you're a British Taxpayer. The fact that Jacqui Smith thinks it's ok to censure Micheal Savage but ok for her hubby to expense porn is also a howler. I wonder when she "repaid" that and what her explanation was, lol.

"Lt. Col. Kwiatkowski has an MA in Government from Harvard University and an MS in Science Management from the University of Alaska. She has a PhD in World Politics from The Catholic University of America;"

I'm sure her parents are proud, but there is not one shred of engineering in any of her education or practical works. Her Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_Kwiatkowski

The engineering "facts" she gives have all been extensively debunked by actual engineers and crash scene investigators. Oh, and she's also regarded as a loon in the scientific community. But you, her, and Oliver Stone would make a nice dinner troika.

I've now read that story 3 times Bill and in no way does it ever say that any of the commishioners believed their report was a fraud. In fact the threatned charges were never brought because they eventually got the answers they wanted and the report reflected their take on those answers. The opinions given also reflect only one commisioner. The story was about their aggravation AT THE TIME.

Next time take the blue pill...?

Bill you're out of your noggin, seriously. I've now followed that link too, and it's an even bigger howler than your first one.

You are quoting the opinions of 41 people who worked at the very agencies that the commision blamed in large part for 9/11. Those people are - SURPRISE!!! - not too pleased with the commision's report. I never would have seen that coming.

The very first one - a Foggy Bottom employee - immediately jumps into areas he knows nothing about and starts spouting non-sensical engineering falsehoods. Here he is in his own words:

"I'm not satisfied by the notion that planes hitting buildings constructed as these would have caused them to collapse. The last building to fall was not even attacked. … The sheer mechanics of the event. The chances of two buildings of that height and structure merely collapsing in their own footprint are extremely slim.” He also stated, “There is a lot of work in getting sixteen people ready to commit voluntary and simultaneous suicide. The case has not been made."

He's not just a moron, he's a moron without a television set, or a history book.

I read your first link Bill and it was a dooz. You quoted a story on a left wing website interviewing an anti-Bush democrat. In the interview the BDS suffering democrat offered his opinion that the commission had a hard time with the Bush administration. You referenced that article as "proving" that the commision members thot their findings were a fraud. Slight problem: not even the leftists chatting in the interview made that suggestion, let alone the commision members. You're reading whatever you need into any story you see. Just like seeing smoke puffs on the grassy knoll. There is a certain percentage of people that just NEED to think they are onto "the big secret" and everybody else is missing it. Well here's a tip Bill: The Matrix was just a freakin movie.

I'm going to give this one a pass. It was a light enough joke, and it was as much on them as Palin.

On the plus side it at least looks like this movie may be about a "sophisticated" urban couple trying (and suceeding?) to work it out and stay together. If that's how the story plays it's actually a good family message as opposed to the usual divorce as a badge of honor stuff Hollywood usually does.

We don't want her out! She'll be worth 30 seats to us in 2010. We need her there, making sure the left keeps overreaching. Thanks Nancy you addle-brained gift you!

x2 On all your comments Jack.

The laugh track just sounds desperate. Your "faux panel" idea sounds great too. The Onion's show is a good model.

I for one would be willing to sit thru a (brief) ad for upgraded production values and a little more length.

"..acted more like the people they claim to be (i.e. fiscally responsible, honest, moral, etc...), McCain may have had a chance to win.....or at least Obama wouldn't have ..."

That's my point Des, except minus the McCain part, who I don't like and you seem too. McCain was NEVER going to win this race period. The MSM was not going to let that happen, and we could have run the Easter Bunny for President and it wouldn't have made any difference.

My comment about RINOS pertained to the congress, and I agree 100% that if they had acted like fiscal grownups (real conservatives) we might still have 1 chamber, or at least be able to fillibuster and not have to worry about how Arlen and Olympia are going to go.
