I'll try this again. I don't know if my last comment was rejected or what. Hopefully it doesn't show up twice. Here's the deal. Paulsen needs to get a clue. The job numbers quoted by him are hilarious. HYPE-rion never said those jobs would go to the locals did they? I believe they said that 85-90% would go to people they bring in. The people in NW Iowa that will have to live near this refinery DO NOT want it. I was happy to see the Iowa DNR step up to the plate on this & now we need the Iowa EPA to get involved also. This is some of the richest farmland in the U.S & a refinery would pollute our land ,air, & water. Paulsen could be costing Steve King a re-election(not that I would care). The farmers in this area are the people that keep King in office.
Paulsen has a lot of nerve. The farmers in NW Iowa DO NOT want this refinery. It will pollute the land, water, & air. We don't need his kind of help. I was glad to see that Iowa's DNR stepped up to the plate. Now the Iowa EPA needs to get involved. Sounds like Paulsen has the best interests of the wrong people in mind. The job numbers he says it will create are also a joke. HYPE-rion has no money & Here's a suggestion Paulsen.....WIND ENERGY!!!! You & Steve King could power the whole state of Iowa with your hot air.
