The traditionalist bishops were not "Old Catholics". Old Catholics separated from Rome after the _First_ Vatican Council over the declaration of papal infallibility; that schism has nothing to do with the reforms of the Second Vatican Council. The bishops in question belong to the Society of St Pius X, which objected to the introduction of the new liturgical rite by Pope Paul VI. They have no "position" on the Holocaust, which never had anything to do with the schism in the first place, and as far as I know, only Bishop Williamson has openly expressed his views on the matter. However, on learning of his views, anti-traditionalists used that to shame Pope Benedict into rethinking the reconciliation with the SSPX, since they judged correctly that the Vatican would pay more attention to the hysterical reactions of the secular media than to the needs of the Church.
