Nice try Democrats. This sympathetic-looking "young" college girl has turned out to be another laughingstock in your burgeoning roster of public faces spouting ridiculous nonsense to support your cause. Increasingly the American Public is seeing through the BS campaign you've waged so successfully in the past.

"The most amazing thing about this crazy approach is that it makes it seem as if America has more poverty than nations such as Bangladesh, even though the average “poor” American has much higher living standards than all but the wealthiest people in the developing world."
This is the entire matter in a nutshell. The truth of the matter is thatpoverty is relative; the poor in America are better off than the majority in many countries as attested to by the mad scramble among the world's people to Come To America.

What you say is true in terms of the ultimate outcome of the primary election. However, the current controversy is over the perception of Romney's ability to "beat Barack Obama" and so the question of who got more votes - that is who is more popular - is what is being touted as the main storyline by the Romney camp.

This is absolutely tragic. Andrew was such a profound inspiration for those of us who consider the right to speak one's mind the most precious possession a person can have. He was utterly fearless in the face of those who would shut us up and make us toe the party line. I will miss him tremendously.

Actually Ben and Jerry "sold out to The Man" - Unilever, to be exact. Formerly Lever Brothers, the multinational conglomerate based in the Netherlands markets consumer goods including foods, detergents, cosmetics, health/beauty aids and nutritional products. It is #103 on Forbes' Global 2000 list with an annual profit of $5.7 billion on sales of $59.3 billion, assets of $54.8 billion and market capitalisation of $91.93 billion (Mar 2011).
