Congratulations to you and your family. Sounds like you have been blessed a few times after battling through some very tough ones.....that probably makes it that much sweeter. The vodka tip is a new one on me but I think I would wear the item so it catches any spills and I'm sure it will need several repetitions depending on how steady your hands are. ;)
Now you are talking my language. I have been thrifting,saleing etc.. since I was a teen and I'm over 50. Most of our home is furnished in finds and at least half of my closet. I love how I can find inexpensive fabric items like placemats and tablecloths sometimes not even opened. Both of my daughters have the bug too and they know how much they can save on bags and jewelry.
Love the fire pit area......that is definitely my idea of a fantastic relaxing evening with friends.In the kitchen, how clever to cut the old hoosier cabinet in half and use them separately. Love the white fur corner, the unique use of leather tool belt over the bunk bed, those amazing bathrooms done in all those beautiful neutrals and my favorite accent colors anything in the blue/green family used generously. That Zen den that is PHEN-omenal. JUST GORGEOUS!!!! Oh yeah, can't get enough of all the outdoor spaces. Don't even know how I would decide where to spend my leisure time since I'm so used to a tiny dining/living area being all the choice we've ever had....but I could suffer through and decide.
