Hi Deepthi, the same process applies to group objects as does to user objects. Select the 'sharepoint group' you want the 'AD group' to be a member of and:
new>Add user
You will notice that the in the 'Add Users' section the entry box indicates 'Users/Groups' can be added.

Please take me away from the iOS 4. The multi app is not really fooling anyone. Help me from the one who says you must hold it a certain way.

Jim, Interesting question. Usually when people talk to me about external people I usually suggest going the route of using a separate SQL database with FBA. In your case this isn't as straight forward. You could try isolating the users accounts and preventing them from log into workstation via a group policy. Another approach is to leverage the 'log on to...' button on the account tab of the user properties and set no workstation. This should prevent them from logging into any domain workstation. Of course you want to test this before you implement that approach. All things considered it should work because it will still allow you to log into the sharepoint site but not your workstations.

While the hidden document library will not show up in the quick launch the original library still has not been deleted. If you bookmarked the original location within the SharePoint site you can access via that method. If you didn't do this then you can click on 'View All Site Content' on top of the quick launch and it should be under the 'Document Libraries' section. This assumes you have permission to view/open the document library.
