In preparation to watch this new take on the Thing, I watched the Carpenter version last night on Netflix. It's been a long time since I've watched this movie and wow, it holds up tremendously well considering it's age, they must have digitally remastered this because it looked great! Most of all though, the fx, story and atmosphere was so well done that it blows you away how well it compares to current movies. True classic.

Actually, I think the real hammer here is the framing of all the attacks and how poorly it will reflect on the attackers...when combined all at once, many who know of the attacks as they happened will be inundated all at once with all of them. The reality of how vicious they truly were will hit home to many in a much different way than they did originally spaced apart in time. It will be powerful, I imagine at least.

I'm sorry, but did'nt the majority actorsvote for Obama, thus supporters of the "Everything Should be Free" Socialist Neo Movement?? I thought this was the Utopia most people in Hollywood were looking for? Profit? What the hell is profit? I thought this was a lost shunned evil word we were not supposed to ever use again?

Which is it Hollywood? Doctors who spend 30+ years of their life studying to become Doctors only to just get low paid government controlled wages via Socialized Medicine or Hollywood( and Doctors and everyone else for that matter) actually making a profit from a movie( or whatever)? Guns whips and chains....or Dollars, there are no other choices and time is running out.
