It's interesting how the City of Boise is looking to "cracking down on illegal signs many local business" in this economy. Most locally owned retailers are down 40%-60%. You would think that more signage would probably hep them out. This is a clear infringement of FREE SPEECH rights of those business owners. The other day, I had the Boise City Sign Czar come by my store and snap a photo of a banner that had been up a week longer than "City Code" allows. They're preparing to raise revenue by extorting the local business. What is horrible about this, is the fact that taxpayers actually have to pay for these people to go around and harass and extort money from these businesses. WTF is wrong with today's City/State/Federal employee?
