If anyone takes the time to read the twitter updates you'll see all they're doing is improving the resiliency of UltraSn0w - similarly the delay for RedSn0w was to iron out issues. Credit to you for releasing this for free and ignore the haters.
need to correct you there mate. I'm running a 3G without a SIM in it. I have it jailbroken and am running xGPS. The internal GPS is working just fine.
that's ok mate. The same as you, I KNEW I was doing dfu right. Despite not many posts I work in IT and am not a noob, but onlocking since 1.1.4. Let me know how you get on on XP, my bet would be u do it first attempt
for the 2g you'll have to use cycorder for video. Works well.

Hi All, After advice please. Have been unlocking & jailbreaking phones since 1.1.4 and never had issues. Understand it all pretty well but... my phone (iPhone 3g just updated to 3.0 tonight, not activated as no offical SIM) halts at the step 'waiting for reboot'. I start with it off, do as says for dfu and a quick couple of screens whizz by on the pc stating stage one etc but iPhone remains off? Please help.
