Actually, I'm pretty sure that 'Leo1973# was referring to the time-travel hints, e.g. during the episode about the stolen watch (season 1), and someone says 'time doesn't matter where we are', or something along those lines.

I think it would take an incredibly brave move, not from the writers, but from the studio executives to allow a finale without many of the prominent star faces of the show taking centre-stage.

That being said, I think at some point, we'll definitely see future-versions of the LOSTkids/babies, as, like you said, it would be just like the writers to do that.

Come on, expecting a movie to be bad doesn't justify it being bad.

Also, to touch on your comment pertaining to the other 3 movies, the fact is that there was a radical drop in quality between X2 and X3, and us fans were just hoping that it'd be more X2 than X3. I mean, we all knew that it'd never be a Dark Knight-calibre film; but that's not what anyone was demanding.

Why exactly is this necessary for US television? Is the movie aired pre-watershed? If that's the case, then why even bother showing movies like this in the afternoon, anyway? Confounding.
