IntenseDebate stores the comments in their database so it should be as simple as installing the WordPress plug-in. Of course, I'm not sure what field they reference for tying comments to the posts. If it is title, don't change those, but I have a hunch they reference the post ID in which case, just make sure you make matching IDs for each of the new WordPress posts. A pain in the butt either way, it sounds like. Hmm... Ah! Export the comments to the WP comment system and then pull them back into IntenseDebate? Hmm... seems like that might be just as problematic. You might look into SmugMug for hosting the high res versions. Can't remember what the free account limitations are as I have a Pro account there, but if you do enough photography, a Flickr or SmugMug pro account is worth having, and relatively inexpensive. Of course, if your host has the space and bandwidth, just slap the big ones up here. I'll make a list of photos that I'd like.
