What a great concept!! Imagine having enough water bottles to get me through the work week. I am one of those people who buy water by the case to make it easy to transport. I've never found a water bottle that substitutes easily. This would be great to have one for each day. Can't get much easier than that!!
Right on!!! Extra entries are always at the top of my wish list. Also, could we get an extra entry for every good suggestion we make? I need more entries...one a day just isn't enough :o( Coop, you should be awarded the extra entry just for being able to recite the commercial, don't ya think?
Welcome Back, Mary!! Missed your teases about your latest trip to the DH. Been waiting to hear the newest news. Upon seeing the new pix, my first thought was: " My goodness - she must only be about three feet tall!!!!" Never thought about the doors being large. Whew --glad that was a response. Are the other doors that tall? Now, fill us in on the other things you learned in this trip....any new answers to all the questions on the blogs? I've decided that they should cut off entries on Friday, Jan 22. Then my chances of winning are much improved. Could you please consider that? I think it's a great suggestion. More photos and news please! I'm still having fun and I'm still the one (to win, that is!!)
Hey there! Since it seems to come up so often and people don't always know where to go for info on this gated community, here is a website that I found that has numerous links to details about the property. Hope it helps.

Mary, I'm so excited that you read the blogs. Sometimes I think they go into a black hole. But you pick up on really good questions that have not been asked a hundred times and answered 120 times. Keep the info coming! The extra details you provide make each of us more excited that ever. Hope one of the bloggers is the winner of this magnificent HGTV DH (p.s. what additional info do you need from me in order to write that big check?!??) Having fun and lots of it!
Trixie - Plot it is NOT. The LOT size is about 3 acres. The comment is for fun, but a plot makes my mind jump to a cemetary. Anyway, there is anough space to truly enjoy the Great Outdoors!
Coop - As usual, you can turn something ordinary into fun! 711 would definately be a bad number in this area. Keep up the great comments. Loving your blogs!
Coop, I absolutely, positively watched the show last night. Wouldn't miss it. Jamie does fantastic things with an outdoor space. The transformations are awesome beyond belief. One of my favorites was the one where the girls wanted an Asian-inspired zen type garden. The way in which the area was hidden, then you enter into this beautiful, lush oasis. The wooden architecture and beautiful plantings made me want to visit it over and over again. ____Jamie is my new favorite show and his plans are intense! love his work.
Coop - Must be frightening to feel tremblers of that magnitude with Haiti being the big news event. A New Mexico home probably sounds very good right now. We used to live in Japan and the constant quakes there caused me to live in intense fear. Thankfully we were able to leave with our lives intact and a learning experience behind us. I thought it would be pushing my luck to live in California after that, so I commend you for your stamina and ability to continue being a 'native Californian'. Good thoughts for you. irish
Lessie, you seem to indicate that I was somehow downplaying the purpose of this blog site and don't know why people come here. This is the only site I have ever blogged on and will continue to visit to read the excitement people have for the possibility of winning this fantastic home. I am one of those people! I'm very sorry if I ruffled your feathers, never my intention. I love this site and the conversations on it, from the regulars and the newbies. Please forgive if I've offended. Just writing how I felt re: Haiti, then my comment regarding why we're all here. Still want to win the Dream Home!
