95% of the visitors to this site don't even know about the Republican spending record. Suddenly, they are concerned for our country. Sniff, sniff.

Let me guess, you don't read newspapers cause they try to make you believe things you simply don't want to believe. It's all a grand conspiricy isn't it?
Read a newspaper Jenni, it aint "an economic downturn in the Bush years." it's a catastrophic economic meltdown in the Bush years.

There was nothing conservative about Bush's economic policies. Neocon or Republican, yes, but not Conservative.
And where was the "Oil President" who you excuse "for energy prices stealing all our wealth in a short period of time". BTW, The Office of Budget and Management concluded in October of 2008 that unregulated speculation caused oil prices to skyrocket to $4.50 per gallon, not supply and demand. There is a bipartisan bill being sponsored in Congress right now to end that speculation. We'll see if the fat cats are able to quash that bill.
Nor was Bush's response to 911 Conservative. Neocon or Republican, yes, but not Conservative.

Fear prevents people from thinking clearly and casues them to do irrational things.

And, all of the opinion is clouded by an irrational fear or irrational hatred for Demcrats and more specifically, for the evil Barack Obama. Go check out the news item "President Obama Wants Europe To See The GOOD That America Does" wherein about 22 commenters speculate, seriously, abut Obama being the antichrist, and not one person dissents that as preposterous but me. Those peple belong in padded rooms.
I do agree wholeheartedly with your assertion that "there is an equal number of liberals that will do the same for the Dem party". But I don't see those nu!jobs going main stream with a sight like this, along with the support and encouragement of a major network and it's comentator/entertainer.

Except, you wonder if Obama is the Antichrist???
You, Bill Strong, and all the commenters here who would speculate about Obama being the Antichrist, are not Christians. You are not filled with the Holy Spirit, you are filled with hate.

Except, I only see commenters blaming Obama, Dodd, Frank, Clinton and all the evil Dems.
Are you people serious??? You mean there is no responsibility for the world's economic meltdown by any Republican Congressmen, Senators or President. Are you people on this planet?
Plus, you're coming to the party awfully late! A day late and $19 Billion dollars short. Where was all your populist rage over the 19 Billion in Bonuses the bailed out Wall Street firms paid out at the end of 2008. Were you simply afraid to speak out during a Republican Administration??? Or didn't you read about the fact of the bonuses in the newspaper. Oh that's right, you don't read newspapers.
