This is also happening is Spain and other parts in EU. It seems like the new consolidating space after Private Equity....well, in fact, many of the disstressed debt being bough is done through SPVs set up by PEs

Untitled : Going Mobile

You are forgetting blackberry....I know its a different system but would RIM open its servers to allow others to use them. Blackberry apps are much more poorer that Apple or Google.....on purpose? Does this make sense? A different topic is when you submit your mobile number into a internet "promotion" adn since then onwards they fire you stupid stuff and you dont know how to get rid of it...

ThunderBolt : Economic Downturn & the Impact on Social Networking

Its a good point but one thing is trying to get a job trhough this social networks and a different thing is to really get it. If there was a survey on new hirings I bet you that a very low % got their jobs from an internet social network. Having said that, this might change in the future when the job market is more decentralised. I wonder what head hunters think about this.

Untitled : "Recession this year, stagnation next year...and slow recovery in 2011"

I think emerging markets such as asia and more particularly LatinAmerica are more used to live in unstable enviroments than anybody else. And they will survive better than developed countries for sure What it is more scary for me is Dr. Gerard Lyons' prediction of a recovery start in 2011....

Internet MKG 2009 : MP3 kills music

free downloaded music is considered illegal in some countries... imagine I just replicate everything you say in this blog...wouldn't I be stealing your ideas? The fact that is virtual doesn't mean that doesn't cost anything... probably if you are a pirate you do not care because is free but when you pay for the music your credit card does know how much you have paid

as many beer ads...do they really think they are going to sell beer....or is just to increase brand awareness. In the last years I think is more the second which in the longer run makes them sell more as they have made a space inside our brains after many of those ridiculous ads...

Hitu's Blog : Dying cheques mark changing times

I would say that bank checks are still used when you are buying a house. In this case you go to the bank and ask for a mortgage. When you are signing the sale-and-purchase agreement with the vendor you dont give him cash right? you give him a bank check which is more secure for both parts....for the vendor it is implicit the guarantee that the check has funds because it has been signed by the bank and for the seller is also safe because he doenst need to walk down the street with so much money....A part from that case....I dont see any use and I agree with your view
